Berlin

Helene Bubrowski is an excellent connoisseur of the Berlin political scene. Since January 2024, she has been the deputy editor-in-chief of Table.Media, and is a frequent guest on political talk shows such as Markus Lanz or phoenix. Previously, the Ph.D. in law spent six years as a political correspondent for F.A.Z. in Berlin, covering the Greens as well as interior and legal policy.

Since the then Minister of Transport, Andreas Scheuer, explained in a talk show in 2020 why he had done nothing wrong, she has been interested in how politicians deal with their mistakes. In her book “The Fallibles,” published in spring 2023, Helene Bubrowski entertainingly analyzes the culture of errors in politics.

An evening about the dynamics of power in the Berlin government district, a look behind the scenes of legislative procedures, and about politicians’ misjudgments.

Moderation: Nadin Heinich
