DENNIS KREMER is an excellent expert on the financial markets. After working for the business magazine Capital and the Brazilian daily newspaper Folha de São Paulo, the Cologne native moved to the “Value” section of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He has been Deputy Head of Department since November 2024. Kremer is a multiple winner of the State Street Prize for Financial Journalists and the Econsense Journalism Prize. And he writes in such a way that even interested laypeople can understand his analysis of highly complex financial products.
At the end of April, the US President celebrated the first 100 days of his second term in office. However, his policies are causing uncertainty on the stock markets: share prices are falling, as are US government bond prices and the value of the dollar. The markets have since calmed down again. Is the worst over? Is it just the calm before the next storm? Or are there signs of a fundamental change? An evening about nerves of steel, long-term perspectives and finding the right balance in turbulent times.
